For some unexplained reason the tragic new about Caroline Flack has really saddened me and I’ve found my thoughts returning to her over the last 24hours. I know little about her other than her Strictly Adventure as I haven’t watched Love Island and don’t really pay attention to tabloids/ media and their incessant need to tear down those who find themselves in the limelight.

My memory of Caroline on Strictly was of a beautiful young woman, full of life and laughter and absolutely loving the dancing which always looked amazing. Of course I have heard news snippets along the way, especially about the recent allegations of assault.

Isn’t it so sad that we are so ready to believe everything the News reports and become judge and jury over peoples lives like they are disposable and without feeling.

I found myself thinking of the question I asked myself at the beginning of 2020.

What type of person do I want to be?

Certainly not someone who is quick to judge another persons actions based on very little information. Rather I want to be known for being quick to believe the best of others. To speak the good things about them when others tear them down, to choose to be quiet unless I am building people up.

Yes I will challenge my friends and family whom I love, but that will be in private, only filled with a desire to see them grow as people and never to make them feel less than they are.

So to all of you who feed on gossip and love tearing people apart in some misguided idea that it makes you feel better about yourself, think again, treat others as you would have them treat you. Speak over them words you would want them to speak over you.

Refuse to be drawn into the trap,of comparison which steals your joy.

As to those of you who feel the Bible is outdated…just look at this….

Always protects……who protected Caroline?

You see if you truly look at these verses they are incredible and can we truly say our love never fails….yet Gods love never fails.

So be someone who Loves Anyway 💕
